Eh. It was all right.
Infinity Blade 3 looks at first glance to be the obvious best game graphically and in the sheer number of items. And its true, this game looks great and has tons and tons of amazingly designed weapons and armor and magic for you to play around with. Another aspect to this game, my personal favorite improvement, is being able to go to different locations instead of continually exploring the same castle. The two characters as well as all the people you need to recruit for your hideout are annoying, though. I wish I could upgrade gems or weapons without needing to find someone first. And I can only sell to the merchant? The story wasnt surprising and they couldve done without it. A plus side was the dragon; undoubtedly the best addition in terms of boss fights to Infinity Blade games that I could have imagined. And the final showdown with the monstrosity, the sweet victory, oh man.. They really did good on the dragon design. But I have to split all my cash between two characters while I wish I could just choose one at the beginning.
In terms of enemies its challenging and fun, although I do remember rage quitting on those pesky enemies who damage you elementally. Some of that could be taken down a few notches. Other than that, if youre a fan of the Infinity Blade series definitely give 3 a try. Its not as classic as the others, but its entertaining and replayable.
